The video was published on the Chinese social media platform WeChat by a user with the pseudonym "Xiao Se." In the footage, the men can be seen burning the banknote and laughing.
According to Kun.uz, these individuals might work at a company located in Tashkent Region. Under Uzbek law, actions demonstrating disrespect toward the national currency can lead to legal accountability.
According to the Criminal Code, acts of disrespect towards state symbols, including images on currency notes, are considered a crime. This article stipulates penalties such as a significant fine, mandatory corrective labor, or restriction of freedom for up to three years.
