Kazakhstan’s airline Qazaq Air will launch direct flights between Astana and Samarkand starting from November 7. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee.
This route will facilitate travel and also serve to develop tourism, business, and cultural ties between the two countries. Flights will operate twice a week – on Fridays and Sundays.
The ticket price starts from 1.3 million UZS (60,600 tenge) one way, and from 842,800 UZS (36,900 tenge) for round-trip. Qazaq Air has been operating in the aviation market since the end of 2015.
The company operates flights within Kazakhstan and to border regions of neighboring countries. The airline’s main hub is located at Astana airport.
