
Statistics of accidents that occurred during the production process in Uzbekistan for 2025 have been published. According to official data, 731 production-related incidents were recorded during the year, resulting in 813 employees being injured. Of these, 212 have died.
According to the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the largest number of accidents occurred in the construction sector - 198 cases. Also, 43 incidents were recorded in the light industry, 36 in the transport sector, and 35 in agriculture.
During the control measures, 2,372 violations of labor legislation were identified. As a result, administrative fines totaling nearly 1 billion soums were imposed on officials. At the same time, criminal cases have been initiated in 196 cases.
Also, as part of the restoration of labor rights, 159 billion soums were allocated to collect unpaid wages from 13 thousand employees. 8,259 officials who violated the law were fined a total of 22 billion soums.
In the future, the Labor Inspectorate plans to launch an online question-and-answer system based on artificial intelligence to create greater convenience for citizens. Through this platform, it is planned to create the possibility of consulting based on a database containing more than 10 thousand questions and answers.
