The list of the best national cuisines in the world has been updated. Nearly 19,000 traditional dishes were analyzed, and a rating of 100 national cuisines recognized as the most delicious was compiled. This was reported by the famous gastronomic platform - TasteAtlas.
According to the platform's explanation, the rating was formed based on 590,228 approved ratings for almost 19,000 national dishes presented worldwide. The final ranking of each country was determined based on the average score posted by users. At the same time, it was noted that in the calculation process, only the estimates of real users were taken into account, and special mechanisms were used to limit bots or artificial "patriotic increases."
According to TasteAtlas, the national cuisine of the 10 most delicious countries in the world is as follows:
1. Italy - 4.64
2. Greece - 4.60
3. Peru - 4.54
4. Portugal - 4.53
5.Spain - 4.53
6. Japan - 4.49
7. Turkey - 4.49
8. China - 4.48
9. France - 4.48
10. Indonesia - 4.48
Among the countries of Central Asia, only Kazakhstan is included in the rating. This country ranked 98th among 100 countries with an average score of 3.9. Despite the low position in the general list, some dishes of the national cuisine were highly appreciated by users and recommended separately.
In particular, among the dishes recommended by the platform to try, there is a traditional meat pastries - samsa, popular throughout Central Asia. It received a score of 4.0 and was described as "a fragrant, crispy dough and a classic dish of the region."
