American actor George Clooney and his family members have obtained French citizenship. AFP reported this, citing a government bulletin. The news was published on December 30 at 14:53 (Tashkent time). This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.
According to AFP, in early December Clooney praised France’s privacy-protection laws. He said these rules play an important role in shielding his family from paparazzi. “They don’t photograph children here. There are no paparazzi at the school gates. That’s the most important thing for us,” he said.
The actor admitted that despite taking 400 lessons, he still has not been able to master French well. Nevertheless, he emphasized that he likes French culture.
It is reported that Clooney has owned an estate in southern France called Domaine de Canadel since 2021. In an interview in October, he said that given the Hollywood environment, he does not want to raise his children in Los Angeles.
