According to official data provided by the National Statistics Committee, the number of foreign citizens arriving in Uzbekistan for tourism purposes increased significantly from January to November 2025. During this period, a total of 10.7 million foreigners visited the country. Notably, tourists came from 200 countries and territories worldwide.
Statistics show that men made up the larger share of visitors. In exact figures, 5,850,226 of the tourists who visited Uzbekistan were men, while 4,899,104 were women. This indicates that interest in the country is almost equally strong among both genders.
When analyzed by age groups, the largest share falls on tourists aged 31 to 55. Their number totaled 5,427,650. This is explained by the fact that this group mainly comes to the country for business, cultural-educational, and historical trips.
In addition, the number of children and teenagers aged 0–18 amounted to 1,383,437. Young people aged 19–30 totaled 1,756,723, with most arriving for education, travel, and active recreation. The number of tourists aged 56 and above reached 2,181,520.
Experts say these high figures are driven by the expansion of the visa-free regime, improved infrastructure, an increase in the number of flights, and Uzbekistan’s positive international image. This trend points to faster development of the tourism sector and provides grounds to expect further growth in tourist arrivals in the coming years.
