BMW M3 Handschalter: A Farewell to the Manual Transmission

BMW is bidding farewell to its sixth-generation (G80) M3 with the special Handschalter version. Designed for the US market, this model is one of the last sports cars to be equipped with a manual transmission. This is reported by Autocar.co.uk reports .
The car is based on the M3 CS and is 20 kg lighter than the standard M3. It is equipped with stiffer shock absorbers, springs, and a race-tuned chassis. Unlike the previous M3 CS, the new Handschalter features a rear-wheel-drive system.
Engine power is limited to 473 hp to ensure the reliability of the manual transmission. Nevertheless, the car reaches 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
The exterior features yellow daytime running lights and a special color palette. Inside, carbon fiber bucket seats are installed. In the US market, the price for this model starts at $103,750.
