Aviasales.uz airline ticket booking service and Passenger Media have examined unique bookings made over the past three years and identified the countries where only one ticket was purchased from Uzbekistan. This list includes Sierra Leone, Djibouti, Congo, Rwanda, Venezuela, Madagascar, Barbados, Laos, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Benin, Myanmar, Peru, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Zimbabwe, North Macedonia, and Fiji.
The most expensive flight was to Nicaragua — a ten-day trip in business class. In addition, the trip to Zimbabwe was also costly: the passenger stayed in the country for ten days, and the ticket price was nearly 36 million soums.
Among the rare destinations, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua attracted great interest. Users searched for tickets to these countries many times, but only one ticket was booked.
According to Aviasales.uz, the reason for the lack of popularity of these countries is the absence of direct flights, complex routes, and visa requirements. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
