The Supreme Court has denied that Mahmud Kholbutayev, the former head of the Sharof Rashidov district of Jizzakh region, has been released. The case against the former head is being considered in the court of Arnasoy district. Kholbutayev is accused of embezzlement and misuse of state property, and forgery of documents.
