Fraudsters behind the mask of business are "spoiling" the people...

At a meeting on January 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sharply criticized the fact that organized crime is taking the form of "business" and taking root in profitable sectors. The head of state emphasized that while these gangs were previously viewed as "streets," today they have gained people's trust through various firms and "projects" and have transitioned to making big money.

At the meeting, examples of fraud related to the purchase and sale of housing were cited, especially in Tashkent. It is noted that more than 3,000 citizens were deceived in the matter of selling apartments, and the total damage reached 1.3 trillion soums. This figure is not just statistics - it was noted that behind each figure stands a family, a dream, a hope.

The head of state also touched upon the activities of some construction companies, which were covered by Kun.uz and for which investigations have begun. As an example, construction companies such as "Credit House" and "In Fin Stroy Invest," under the pretext of selling apartments, deceived thousands of citizens and embezzled large sums of money.

At the same time, it was noted that the number of people who believed in the "easy" promise regarding the car issue has increased. It was noted that companies such as "Umid Avtolizing" and "Halol Avtolizing," promising to deliver cars, collected money from many people, and people were left waiting.

The most painful aspect is that even pilgrimage routes are becoming a "source of income" for some. At the meeting, it was noted that "Jalolquduq Aviatrans" company deceived citizens regarding Umrah pilgrimage, and the situation itself causes great concern in society. The President emphasized that "this is happening in Uzbekistan."

Shavkat Mirziyoyev posed a direct question to officials: why are such organized structures not suppressed in a timely manner, why is legal literacy not strengthened so that people do not fall into the trap of fraudsters? The head of state also addressed the leadership of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, demanding practical results against this vice.

The conclusion from these events is simple: now scammers are hiding not on the "street," but in offices, advertisements, chats, and "very sweet" offers. Therefore, checking documents, contracts, licenses, legal addresses, company history, and genuine reviews before agreeing to any housing, car, or pilgrimage service offer is no longer an "additional precaution," but a minimal rule of self-defense.

The good thing: the issue was openly discussed from a high rostrum - therefore, this topic is no longer meant to be closed off for "no noise." Now the main thing - let the words turn into action. Public trust is more valuable than money; it cannot be sold as a "project."
