Two tourism companies fined

The Competition Committee has fined two tourism companies for unauthorized advertising. It was revealed that Panorama Travel and Shaffof Kichiksoy companies advertised Umrah pilgrimage services without obtaining proper licensing through social media platforms.

Additionally, the owners of Telegram channels — Umra Ihlos Sardor domla, Yuksak Ahsan Travel, and Express Parvoz National Tourism Operator — have also been held accountable for violating advertising regulations. It is worth noting that since last autumn, the government has initiated the regulation of tourism companies offering pilgrimage services.

To obtain a permit, companies are required to allocate $1,000,000 to the "Ziërat" foundation. Initially, 12 companies were granted operation permits, and in the spring of this year, two additional companies obtained licenses.

During the summer, the Committee for Religious Affairs approved rules for undercover inspections of tourism operators. As part of these inspections, committee officials visit company offices as clients to verify the duration and pricing of their services.
