Uzbekistan lifts currency restrictions on Panama
Uzbekistan has removed Panama from the list of countries subject to enhanced currency control measures. This decision came into effect on December 9.

The changes were approved by the State Tax Committee, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Central Bank. Prior to the adoption of this decision, it was discussed with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In this regard, the rules for controlling the legality of currency transactions conducted by companies and citizens have been revised.
