Registration through a single portal is now mandatory for Hajj and Umrah. This is stated in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 27 of January 24, "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Improvement of the Organization and Conduct of Hajj and Umrah Events." That is, the goal is to regulate pilgrimage work and make the process more transparent.
It is noted that this document launched a "Unified portal of Hajj and Umrah" in the republic. Now, registration through this portal is mandatory for citizens wishing to go on pilgrimage. Therefore, before embarking on a journey, it is necessary to enter the data into a unified system.
According to the decree, the new procedure comes into force from the following dates:
-From February 1, 2026 - for the Hajj event;
-From May 1, 2026 - Registration on the portal is required to go on Umrah pilgrimage.
It is noteworthy that it is not allowed to organize trips without entering information about pilgrims into the portal. This, in turn, serves to strengthen systematicity and order.
