The Ministry of Health is reviewing feedback from citizens and medical professionals regarding the implementation of the electronic prescription system. The ministry emphasized that all suggestions and remarks are being carefully and promptly considered.
The press service announced that public responses to questions related to the "Electronic Prescription" system will be provided soon. Following the implementation of the electronic prescription system, issues have arisen in purchasing medications in Tashkent.
Online, residents of the capital have complained about the inability to buy medications without a prescription, stating that only vitamins and dietary supplements are available for open sale. Furthermore, citizens are concerned about increased patient flow in outpatient clinics due to the need to obtain electronic prescriptions.
Azizakhon Khozhaeva, an infectious disease specialist and immunologist who is the administrator of a community of Tashkent doctors, shared her opinion on the situation. According to her, doctors have been unable to access the system, and in some pharmacies, prescribed medications have been inaccurately listed.
"Work through all the details thoroughly before imposing requirements! Include only medications that genuinely require a prescription, not everything," Khozhaeva emphasized.
