
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has expressed his condolences over the passing of Uzbekistan Hero, farmer Abduraim Hamidov. He passed away on December 10 at the age of 83.
Abduraim Hamidov was born on October 20, 1943, in Turakurgan District, Namangan Region. He began his career in 1960 as a mechanic at the "Uzbekistan" collective farm.
Later, he worked as a contractor and, in 2007, founded the "Shahand Humo Qushi" farming enterprise, where he served as its head for many years. Over nearly 60 years of labor, he became one of the prominent specialists in the agricultural sector.
He actively participated in the implementation of modern agro-technologies and made significant contributions to the development of cotton cultivation and the farming movement in the country. Additionally, he was a deputy of the Namangan Region People’s Deputies Council, engaging in the resolution of socio-economic issues.
Abduraim Hamidov was awarded the title "Hero of Uzbekistan," along with the "Labor Glory" order and the Honorary Certificate of Uzbekistan.
