Flick shared his thoughts after the match against Copenhagen

After Barcelona defeated Copenhagen 4-1 at home in the Champions League, the team's head coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, commented on his performance and personal statistics. If this result is another important step for the Catalans, it's clear from the coach's words that he emphasizes development and demandingness more than victory.
It's worth noting that this match went down in history as Barcelona's 70th victory under Flick. Notably, 93 matches were enough for the team to reach this milestone. For many, this is a very powerful number. But Flick didn't take it as a "wow."
"Did I win 70 times in 93 games with the club? This is not a good enough indicator. I want to win every game, but I also understand that it's almost impossible," said the German manager.
There's a simple logic in Flick's statement: he doesn't want to keep himself or his team in the "comfort zone." Even if victory comes - the question "what next?" always comes first for him. Therefore, he sees 70 victories not as praise, but as a basis for future tasks.
The coach also highlighted another aspect - the attitude towards statistics. Flick, in his own style, spoke frankly about this issue as well:
"As you know, I'm not a statistician. Therefore, I don't fully rely on him. "Yes, sometimes I pay attention to statistics, but not always," BarcaTimes quoted him as saying.
That is, he doesn't deny the numbers, but he doesn't consider them the "basic truth." What's more important for Flick is the quality of the field, the team's discipline, the pace of the game, and the level of improvement in each match.
In short, neither the big victory over Copenhagen nor 70 wins in 93 games "stoped" Flick. His mood is the same: "it is necessary to become even better." This is also what fans like - if the team has high demands, great results will be achieved in big matches.
