In the Samarkand region, a serious crime was prevented in a timely manner. According to the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, as a result of joint operational measures carried out by law enforcement agencies, an attempt to order a mercenary murder was uncovered.
According to reports, a man born in 2002 received urgent information that he was searching for a hired killer to eliminate an acquaintance living in Tashkent. Immediately, employees of the Samarkand Regional Department of the State Security Service, the regional Department of Internal Affairs, and the prosecutor's office took control of the situation and, based on a special plan, began an operational event.
A conditional "mercenary killer" was involved in the operation. It is noted that the 24-year-old customer ordered the murder of a person with whom he had a disagreement and said that he would pay $2,200 in return.
On January 27, during an operational event in Samarkand, the client was caught red-handed while receiving a photo of a grimaced "corpse" from a conditional hired killer and handing over the main part of the agreed amount - $2,000. That is, the crime was not committed, but the process of preparation for it was clearly documented.
During the operational-investigative actions, important circumstances related to another person were also identified. It turned out that the detained customer took up this case due to an issue related to the 30-year-old head of the LLC where he worked. According to the investigation, the head may have ordered the hiring of a murderer after a previously existing dispute with a relative living in Tashkent and a large debt issue. This person has also been detained.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 25, 97, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (attempted murder). The investigation is ongoing.
Such situations strongly remind one thing: the thought "I will solve the problem through violence" is the most dangerous path. The swift action of law enforcement agencies prevented the tragedy this time.
