Starting from the new academic year, major changes are being made in the education system of Uzbekistan. Unified state exams will be held for 9th and 11th grade students.
Through this new system, graduates will be easily directed to higher education or vocational education, depending on their potential and level of knowledge.
Currently, about 400 thousand 9th-grade graduates are enrolled in technical and vocational colleges. Also, the results of the last exam at school will allow graduates to enter universities. That is, while continuing their education at school, young people receive in-depth knowledge depending on the choice of subjects, which opens up more opportunities for them in new subjects and specialties at the university.
In short, graduates can now easily enter technical or vocational colleges or universities based on the results of their last school exam. This, in turn, expands young people's interest in education and opportunities for specialization, contributing to their formation as knowledgeable and qualified specialists.
The introduction of the new system opens up great opportunities for graduates. Now, each young person can choose a field of study according to their potential and desires, which will significantly increase interest in the higher education system and vocational training. At the same time, teachers and school principals have the opportunity to fully assess the potential of young people and guide them in the right direction.
