According to UzHydromet, on December 23 the weather across the country will be mostly changeable. In some areas snowfall is possible, while fog and icy roads may be observed in many regions.
In Tashkent city, light snow is possible at night, while no precipitation is expected during the day. Morning fog may cause difficulties for drivers. Air temperatures will range from 2–4 degrees below zero at night to 5–7 degrees above zero during the day.
In Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, dry weather will persist, with possible fog. No precipitation is expected in the Bukhara and Navoi regions either, with daytime temperatures around 7–12 degrees Celsius.
In the Tashkent region as well as in the Ferghana Valley areas, light snow may occur in some places at night and in the morning. No precipitation is forecast in Samarkand, Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions, but icy conditions on roads are possible.
In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will remain stable, with possible fog. In mountainous areas, snow is expected at night and in the morning, and the risk of avalanches remains in some locations.
