President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree to ensure the country’s food security. Now representatives of the agrarian sector can receive preferential loans at an annual interest rate of 12 percent to cover the costs of cultivating oilseed crops.
Starting from January 1, 2026, 50 percent of the electricity costs for irrigation for farmers cultivating feed and oilseed crops will be reimbursed from the state budget.
