In Uzbekistan, nearly 3.1 million tons of potatoes were grown by all types of farms during January-September 2025. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.
The leading region in potato production was Samarkand region, with 631.9 thousand tons of potatoes grown there. It was followed by Tashkent region (320 thousand tons) and Fergana region (317.4 thousand tons).
The lowest amount of potatoes was harvested in the capital, Tashkent city — only 429 tons. The region with the lowest indicator among all areas was Sirdaryo region, where 60.1 thousand tons of potatoes were grown.
