It has become known that Thailand has maintained a visa-free regime for Russians

Thailand does not plan to change the conditions for entry into the country for Russians and will maintain a 60-day visa-free regime in 2026. This was announced by the kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry clarified that the current entry rules for Russians will remain in force. Russian citizens can stay in Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days and have the opportunity to extend this period.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, a record number of tourists from Russia visited the country in 2025 - more than 1.8 million people. Russia was noted as one of the largest tourist markets in Thailand.
