Uzgidromet has shared the weather forecast for December 24 across the regions of the country. According to the data, variable cloudiness is expected in almost all areas with no precipitation, but foggy and cold conditions will persist.
In Tashkent city, fog is possible at night and in the morning. The wind will be light, blowing from the east. Nighttime weather will be cool, while daytime temperatures will be around 6–8°C.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as in Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi regions, no precipitation is expected. Fog may occur in some areas. Nighttime temperatures will drop below zero, while daytime conditions will remain moderately warm.
In the central regions — Tashkent region, Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh — fog is also possible. In some places, nighttime cold may intensify, while daytime temperatures will range between 5–10°C.
In the southern regions — Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya — relatively warm weather will persist during the day, while temperatures in the Fergana Valley regions will be slightly lower.
In mountainous areas, significantly cold weather is expected: nighttime temperatures may drop to 8–13°C below zero, and negative temperatures may persist during the day.
Experts urge drivers and residents to be cautious in foggy weather conditions. Winter is beginning to make its presence felt.
