Uzbekistan Judo Tour in Tashkent: champions determined, intense competition

One of the last major judo events of the 2025 calendar - the stage of the "Uzbekistan Judo Tour" competition in Tashkent has successfully concluded. The competitions, held at the modern arena specializing in martial arts, located in the "Olympic" town of the capital, became a real celebration for judo enthusiasts.

The competition, with a prize fund of 200 million soums, featured fierce battles in four weight categories. In each performance, the struggle for victory, character, and skill were manifested. In the -66 kg category, Anvarjon Ibrohimov, in the -73 kg category, Nizomiddinxo'ja Toshpo'latov, in the +90 kg category, Amir-Said Djeyliyev, and in the women's +70 kg category, Irisxon Qurbonboyeva ascended the podium.

In the team standings, the Tashkent region team outperformed all their opponents. They won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal each and took first place in the team competition. The judokas of the Bukhara region took second place with 1 gold and 1 silver medal, and the representatives of the Khorezm region finished in the top three with 1 gold and 1 bronze medal.

The results of the competitions clearly showed that judo schools are consistently developing in the regions, and the competition among young athletes is intensifying year by year. In particular, a series of final fights maintained intrigue until the last seconds and were enthusiastically supported by fans.

In the -66 kg category, Anvarjon Ibrohimov's confident movements, in the -73 kg category, Nizomiddinxo'ja Toshpo'latov's technical superiority, in the heavyweight category, Amir-Said Djeyliyev's physical preparedness, and Irisxon Qurbonboyeva's determination were particularly noteworthy.

The high level of organization of the event, the quality of refereeing, and the conditions created for the athletes enhanced the prestige of the competition. This was officially announced by the press service of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan.

In short, the Tashkent stage was not only one of the beautiful outcomes of the season, but also a solid step towards new names, new hopes, and big competitions for the coming years.
