If the amount of coffee increases, energy actually decreases – the real truth about caffeine
Due to regular and frequent coffee consumption, the calming effect of caffeine may not produce the expected result, and activity decreases while drowsiness increases.

It is noted that in this respect, coffee is similar to some other substances — the body adapts to it. The main role of caffeine is to block adenosine receptors, as a result of which the feeling of fatigue is not sensed and a person continues to feel energetic. However, if caffeine is consumed constantly, adenosine cannot bind to its receptors. Accordingly, the brain synthesizes new adenosine receptors. As a result, no matter how much coffee is drunk, a person still feels tired and sleepy. That’s why drinking too much coffee is not recommended — if its amount increases, it can have a negative effect on the body, emphasizes Daniil Petrov, chief physician of the Isaev clinic in Russia, a narcologist.

According to the specialist, this situation is also associated with the so-called “30-kilometer effect”.

He notes that among truck drivers, the highest number of accidents occur between the 30th and 50th kilometers of the road. The reason is relying too much on coffee and expecting it to always provide stimulation, but the opposite happens: when too much coffee is consumed, its effect wears off.

According to Zamin.uz analysis, maintaining a harmless amount of coffee and not consuming it regularly is important for a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, each person should feel the needs of their own body and choose the right sources of energy for an active life.
