Drunk man attempts suicide on bridge near Kuylyuk market

On Saturday evening in Tashkent’s Bektemir district, an attempted suicide was prevented. Law enforcement officers stopped a man in time as he was about to jump from a bridge near the Kuylyuk market. This was reported by podrobno.uzreports.

According to the security service under the district Department of Internal Affairs, the report came in at 21:18 (Tashkent time). Officers who arrived at the scene found a man born in 1987 (38 years old) standing on the bridge railing.

Checks found that the man was under the influence of alcohol and intended to jump. Officers brought him down to a safe place and are conducting the necessary inquiries to determine the reasons and provide the required assistance.
