One of the most famous football coaches, Italian Fabio Cannavaro, may soon become the head coach of the Uzbekistan national team to take Uzbek football to a new level. According to reports, the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) has reached an agreement with Cannavaro on a 1+4-year contract, which is expected to be signed within the next 1-2 days.
Timur Kapadze, who currently manages the Uzbekistan national team, will serve as an assistant to Cannavaro at the World Cup. Cannavaro, who has achieved a number of successes in his coaching career, is known as one of the strongest specialists in Italian football.
