The number of Uzbeks who went to the US increased
During the first nine months of this year, 12.9 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan visited the United States. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

Compared to figures from January-September 2024, the number of travelers from Uzbekistan to the US increased by 9.3 percent. Uzbeks mainly visited the US for tourism purposes—9.2 thousand people.

The remaining visitors traveled for various reasons: to visit relatives (3.1 thousand people), study (304 people), and work (273 people).
