The situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly tense. Reports are circulating that the US and Israel are launching airstrikes on key strategic targets in Tehran, the capital of Iran, and other regions of the country.
On Saturday, the Israeli military officially announced that its aviation had delivered a precise strike on the Research Center for Nuclear Development in Tehran. This facility is considered one of the key points for Iran's military and technological potential.
According to the Israeli army, this center is located at the Malek Ashtar University of Technology, where some components related to nuclear weapons have been developed for the needs of the Iranian defense industry. Therefore, this object was assessed as "strategically important."
It should be noted that this university, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Defense of Iran, has long been included in the sanctions list of Western countries due to its connection with the country's nuclear and missile programs.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials are also making sharp statements. In particular, the Chairman of the Parliament of Iran, Mohammad Bakir Ghalib al-Din, noted that the country is entering a new and even more dangerous stage of the war.
In his opinion, this process could be a stage in the implementation of pre-planned strategies. "If Israel cannot completely stop missiles even in the area of Dimona, which is considered to have strong defense, this means that from a military point of view, the conflict has moved to a new stage. This means that the Israeli sky is no longer as safe as before," he said in a statement on the X platform.
According to experts, such mutual strikes and sharp statements could further destabilize the situation in the region. The increased military activity of both sides increases the risk of escalating into a large-scale conflict.
For now, the international community is closely monitoring the situation. Opportunities for a diplomatic solution remain, but it is clear that each new blow further reduces these opportunities.
