Ahead of the New Year celebrations, a series of benefits and discounts will be introduced in the tourism sector across Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Tourism Committee in an official statement. The initiative aims to expand cultural leisure opportunities for residents and visitors during the holiday period, while also boosting domestic tourism activity.
It has been announced that during the festive period, entry tickets to historical and notable sites under the jurisdiction of the Cultural Heritage Agency and the “Vaqf” Foundation will be discounted by up to 10%. Additionally, some cultural heritage sites will offer free admission for visitors. These benefits will apply to both local residents and foreign tourists.
In addition, entrepreneurs operating in the tourism sector are planning to provide discounts of up to 20% at hotels, guesthouses, and recreational facilities to enhance the holiday spirit. The list of these benefits has been published through a separate dedicated link.
Moreover, as part of social support initiatives, individuals included in the “Iron Book,” “Women’s Book,” and “Youth Book,” as well as citizens with disabilities, will have the opportunity to watch performances at state theaters completely free of charge.
According to experts, these initiatives will make traveling across the country during New Year’s celebrations more attractive, while ensuring affordable and convenient cultural leisure for the population.
