Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva announced that a meeting with the leadership of the Bukhara region and its districts addressed several projects vital for the area. Among them, the modernization of the "Juyzar" canal, one of the oldest water structures in the republic, took center stage.
It is noted that a project to concrete a 22.5-kilometer section of the "Juyzar" canal was reviewed. This initiative aims to ensure more rational use of water resources, reduce waste, and increase the efficiency of the irrigation system.

According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, implementing this measure will prevent the waste of 12 million cubic meters of water annually. For a region like Bukhara, where water resources are critical, this is a significant figure. Simply put, concreting is not just construction, but a measure to conserve water for the future.
The meeting also thoroughly discussed issues of efficient water use, modernization of the irrigation system, and improvement of regional infrastructure. In the context of current climate change and water scarcity, saving every cubic meter of water is of strategic importance.

At the same time, plans for the reconstruction of cultural facilities in Bukhara were reviewed. Specifically, the renovation and modernization of the Bukhara Puppet Theater and the Sadriddin Ayni Theater were at the center of the discussion.
Reconstructing these facilities will not only revitalize cultural life but also enhance the city's tourism potential. Bukhara is an attractive center for tourists not only for its historical monuments but also for its cultural environment, theaters, and creative life.

Proposals for creating comfortable conditions for tourists, developing tourism infrastructure, and improving service quality were also considered. Efforts in this direction could further strengthen Bukhara's appeal in the international tourism arena.

In short, the projects discussed in Bukhara are simultaneously aimed at water conservation, infrastructure improvement, cultural support, and tourism development. If the "Juyzar" canal is concreted, water will be saved; if theaters are renovated, cultural life will flourish; if tourism conditions improve, Bukhara will attract even more guests. The formula here is simple: we preserve history, save resources, and build the future.
