The number of men who became fathers after the age of 70 in Uzbekistan has been revealed

In Uzbekistan, 373 389 live births were registered in January–June 2026, the National Statistics Committee reported.

According to the committee, births were also analyzed by fathers’ age groups. The largest share was accounted for by fathers aged 25–39. A total of 309 182 births were recorded in this age group.

The number of births involving fathers under the age of 25 was 34 526. The number of births involving fathers aged 40–59 reached 29 403.

A total of 249 cases were recorded among fathers aged 60–69. Meanwhile, 29 births were registered involving fathers aged 70 and older.
