The Uzbekistan national futsal team successfully completed the qualifying round of the 2026 Asian Cup. In the F group matches held in Kyrgyzstan, our futsal players once again demonstrated their potential with strong and impressive performances.
In the first two qualifying matches, the Uzbek team defeated their opponents by a large margin. In the match against Palestine, our team achieved a resounding 7-1 victory. Following this, a similar score of 7:1 was recorded in the match against East Timor. In these games, the national team was distinguished by reliable defense and effective offense.
At the same time, the decisive match of the qualifiers against the host Kyrgyzstan national team was intense. In the first half of the match, the hosts gained the advantage and effectively used their opportunities. The Uzbekistan national team made every effort to return in the final minutes, and goals scored by Husniddin Nishonov and Ilkhom Khamraev allowed the score to be reduced. However, the main time ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of Kyrgyzstan.

Thus, the Uzbekistan national team scored 6 points in the group, took second place after the hosts, and qualified for the 2026 Asian Cup.
