American clubs refused to acquire Neymar

The future of one of the most famous stars in world football - Neymar - has become uncertain again. According to ESPN Brasil, the 33-year-old forward's current contract with Santos expires at the end of this year. Consequently, various rumors circulated about his potential new team, particularly the possibility of seeing him playing for Inter Miami alongside Lionel Messi and former Barcelona teammates.

However, sources indicate that the MLS - leading US clubs - isn't particularly interested in this idea. In a conversation with several scouts and sports directors of the league, they stated that they do not consider bringing Neymar into the league an economically viable decision. In their opinion, such a transfer will require large investments, but the result may not justify these expenses.

Neymar's condition in recent seasons has also puzzled many clubs. Experts emphasize that the Brazilian star's physical fitness and stability are not at the same level as before. They believe that he is no longer a leader who can seriously influence the team or guarantee results.

Some club managers see Neymar as a player who is not performing as expected on the field, prone to injuries, and requiring a high salary. For example, scouts from the Los Angeles club cited Son Heung-min as an example of him as an "ideal player" - both in terms of positive impact and financial stability.

According to reports, the Chicago Fire club considered the possibility of transferring Neymar, but later abandoned this plan. The club's internal sources even expressed the opinion that "not winning it is happiness for us." The reason, according to them, is that Neymar has not only been unsuccessful lately but is also likely to become a headache within the team.

The Brazilian star has made 23 appearances since returning to Santos in 2023, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists. However, the fact that he played only 8 of these matches intensified doubts about his physical condition and game form.

Football analysts believe that Neymar is a highly investment-intensive but potentially risky transfer at the current stage. Therefore, MLS clubs are maintaining a cautious stance despite the controversy surrounding him.

Nevertheless, the star striker's future is still open. There are various speculations about his new address - some even mention the possibility of seeing him at Japanese or Saudi clubs. One thing is clear: Neymar's name continues to generate interest in the football world, but now he's being discussed more with his uncertainty in the transfer market rather than on the field.
