Zenit and Russian national team defender Igor Diveev shared an interesting archival photo. In it, he is seen at the age of 10 alongside German national team players. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
The image clearly shows Lukas Podolski, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Mesut Ozil.
This photo was taken ahead of the Russia vs. Germany match during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers. At that time, young Diveev walked onto the field with the players.
"My first time walking onto the field with our national team! Indeed, alongside Podolski, Schweinsteiger, and Ozil," wrote Diveev.
It should be noted that in the October 2009 match held at Luzhniki, Russia lost to Germany 0-1, with the only goal scored by Miroslav Klose.
