Recent information has spread that Uzbek footballers currently playing in Iran may return to our country. This process is being carried out conditionally: players can only be transferred from other clubs on a loan basis.
According to information, our players can return to Uzbekistan until May 5 and continue their activities in the national championship. At the same time, if the situation in the Middle East does not change, it is possible that their loan period will be extended.
Currently, five of our representatives play in Iranian clubs. They are: Oston Urunov and Igor Sergeev in Persepolis, Jaloliddin Masharipov and Rustam Ashurmatov in Istiklol, and Odiljon Khamrobekov in Traktor.
This is an exciting situation for the fans and a good opportunity for our team to showcase its Middle Eastern experience in the Uzbek championship. Our players are expected to make a significant contribution to our country's clubs by returning, as well as further develop their skills.
