Surprise proposal for Chelsea: John Stones and Robert Lewandowski needed

Chelsea legend Joe Cole has advised the club to sign John Stones and Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window to improve the dressing room atmosphere and mentor young players. He believes these experienced stars could be the ideal solution for Xabi Alonso as he begins his tenure at Stamford Bridge. This is reported by Goal.com .
Xabi Alonso will officially take charge of Chelsea starting in July. The former Liverpool and Real Madrid midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the London club. He replaces Liam Rosenior, who was dismissed last month, and is expected to rebuild the team that finished tenth in the Premier League.
Considering the club's financial situation and young squad, Joe Cole emphasized the need to focus on the free agent market. John Stones, a six-time Premier League and Champions League winner with Manchester City, and Robert Lewandowski, who scored 120 goals in four seasons for Barcelona, are currently looking for new clubs.
"We don't know what the club's financial situation is, so it's hard to talk about big transfers. But the team needs players who can coach on the pitch and have a winning mentality. Even if Stones and Lewandowski don't play every game, they can share their experience with the youth and lead the team in difficult situations," Cole said in an interview with football.london.
The former player is convinced that for the talented youngsters at Chelsea to reach their full potential, they must have true leaders by their side. These transfers could serve as the foundation for Xabi Alonso to successfully launch his new project.
