Reports have circulated about the mysterious disappearance of several specialists working in the defense and scientific fields in the US. This was reported by Irish journalist Chey Bowes.
He said that these cases, which began in mid-2025, are related to scientists who worked in advanced aerospace technologies, plasma physics, thermonuclear fusion, and rocket science. In particular, aerospace engineer Monica Hasinto Reza has disappeared without a trace, her fate is still unknown. Also, in March 2026, William Neal McCusland mysteriously disappeared.
The journalist does not rule out the possibility of violence in some cases. For example, the deaths of Nuno Loureiro, a scientist associated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Karl Grillmeir, an astrophysicist at the California Institute of Technology, have been reported.
At the same time, official agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, have not confirmed the presence of a correlation between these cases. Each case is being investigated separately.
