The US stated that it would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons

US President Donald Trump emphasized that Washington will absolutely not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons in the near future.

He expressed this opinion while commenting on Iran's nuclear program. According to Trump, this process could be completed very soon, and the US will take decisive measures against the emergence of such weapons.

On April 17, he once again announced that representatives of the US and Iran are cooperating on the export of enriched uranium from the country. It is also stated that Tehran is ready to temporarily suspend its nuclear program, but the issue of frozen assets remains open.

According to the US President, most of the terms of a possible agreement with Iran have already been agreed upon.
