Endocrinologist Margarita Belousova spoke about important nutrients in eggs. She mentioned this in an interview with RIA “Novosti”.

According to the doctor, eggs contain a number of essential nutritional elements. “For example, egg protein contains all nine essential amino acids that the body cannot produce itself, but are necessary for building and renewing cells,” emphasized the endocrinologist.

She added that eggs also contain many vitamins: vitamin A, important for skin and vision; vitamin B, necessary for the nervous system; vitamin E, protecting cells from harmful factors; and vitamin D, essential for immunity.

In addition, eggs contain key microelements: choline, selenium, zinc, and iron. According to the doctor, these nutrients are important for brain function, the immune system, and the hematopoietic system.
