The Ministry of Health clarified the reports of infection in children

The Ministry of Health officially commented on the reports circulating on social networks about the viral disease, which is accompanied by symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea among children. The official statement emphasizes that these cases are not cause for concern and are associated with typical acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), which are common in autumn.

According to the Ministry, a natural increase in the number of viral diseases is observed annually in the autumn and winter seasons due to a decrease in air temperature. These infections can manifest in various ways: some children experience coughing, fever, and nasal congestion, while others experience gastrointestinal disorders - such as vomiting or diarrhea.

Experts emphasize that this is due to the diversity of virus strains. In each season, the types of viruses differ biologically and have different effects on the human body.

The Ministry of Health drew attention to the fact that linking these cases to a coronavirus mutation is incorrect and has no scientific basis. "Today, COVID-19 has lost its severe form and has become a common respiratory infection. "The epidemiological situation in our country is completely stable," the statement says.

The Ministry added that medical institutions throughout Uzbekistan have a sufficient reserve of beds, medicines, and necessary equipment for the treatment of acute respiratory viral diseases. Also, the epidemiological situation is constantly monitored and kept under operational control.

Officials asked the population not to worry too much and also recommended that children consult a doctor in a timely manner if such symptoms are observed. "If parents notice signs of vomiting, fever, or other infections in their children, they should consult a family doctor, not themselves. Self-medication or home treatment can be dangerous," the official statement said.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health urged the population to lead a healthy lifestyle, observe hand hygiene, wear masks in public places, and consume vitamin-rich foods to strengthen the body against viruses.

In conclusion, the epidemiological situation in Uzbekistan is stable, and there are no emergencies. It was noted that these viral cases observed in the autumn season are a natural process, and the medical system is fully prepared for this.

Thus, the Ministry of Health clarified the reports and urged the population to correctly assess the situation, avoid excessive hype, and follow medical recommendations.
