
In Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, a meeting was held to discuss the protection of the rights and interests of Uzbek citizens and the creation of decent working conditions for them. Representatives of Uzbekistan and the management of JLM Group, one of Malaysia's leading companies, participated in this important event.
During the meeting, legal and social protection measures for Uzbek citizens temporarily working in Malaysia were thoroughly discussed. Key topics included creating comfortable jobs in the hotel and manufacturing sectors, and ensuring timely and lawful processing of work permits for migrants.
The Uzbek side provided detailed information to foreign partners about the measures being taken to ensure safe external labor migration. Special emphasis was placed on comprehensive programs implemented in the country to provide social, legal, and financial assistance to labor migrants and their families.
JLM Group CEO Anandan Lingam Naidu praised Uzbekistan’s effective efforts in this field. He stated that such efforts to improve working conditions and protect the rights of citizens abroad can serve as a model for other countries.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to expand cooperation by recruiting more Uzbek specialists for jobs in the hotel and manufacturing industries and by ensuring that their working conditions meet high standards.
