During the first 8 months of this year, the SES Committee conducted large-scale inspections of kindergartens throughout the country. According to official data, a total of 3,554 kindergartens were covered during this period, and the inspections conducted revealed significant shortcomings.
During the inspections, food products and water samples of various directions were taken and analyzed. As a result, it was established that 323 of the 8122 finished food samples did not meet the established sanitary requirements. This indicates that there are still problems with the quality of food prepared for children.
Also, 4,461 drinking water samples were examined, and 237 of them were found to be inadequately clean. This situation shows that a number of shortcomings remain in ensuring the quality of drinking water, which is the main factor for a healthy lifestyle.
Another alarming fact is that out of 4,986 food samples, 878 were found to be insufficiently nutritious. This can have a serious impact on the healthy development of children and strengthening their immunity.
During the inspections, samples of vegetable products were also taken. In 257 out of 12,301 vegetables, nitrates were found to be above the norm. It is noted that such conditions can negatively affect the body and cause various diseases.
Among 2,321 salt samples, iodine deficiency was detected in 718. This condition can increase the risk of endemic diseases in children.
In addition, 446 employees were dismissed in 8 months due to untimely medical examinations. Because every employee working with children's health must regularly undergo medical supervision. Also, 110 kindergartens were temporarily closed due to violations of sanitary requirements.
