In Japan, man tries to attack police officers with a metal object

A video showing a man who caused a disturbance in a public place in Japan trying to attack police officers with a metal object has spread on social media.

The video shows several police officers trying to restrain a half-naked man in the street. The man, holding a long metal object, resisted the officers and attempted to approach them.

As the situation became dangerous, reinforcements were called to the scene. Law enforcement officers surrounded the man, secured the object in his hand and arrested him.

It was reported that an investigation was conducted in accordance with procedure and that the suspect’s actions were given a legal assessment.
