An official delegation led by the governor of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzakov paid a working visit to Afghanistan. The delegation included deputy governors of the region and more than 30 major Uzbek entrepreneurs, as well as investors.

During the visit, the delegation held meetings with representatives of various government agencies and the business sector of Afghanistan. Conferences and trade negotiations were also organized, and issues of deepening cooperation between the two countries, expanding trade relations, and implementing new investment projects were discussed.

The delegation is also scheduled to visit Balkh region. Business meetings with representatives of local authorities and the private sector will be held there. An exhibition of Uzbek products is also expected to open in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif. This exhibition will demonstrate the quality, variety and modern solutions of national products.

It should be recalled that in February of this year, a delegation led by the governor of Syrdarya region Erkinjon Turdimov also visited Afghanistan and held a number of important meetings.

In the near future, leaders of other regions of Uzbekistan are expected to visit Afghanistan to strengthen trade and economic cooperation.

The negotiations conducted by representatives of the two countries will serve to implement projects that are beneficial to both sides, strengthen interregional ties and create new economic opportunities.

These visits will further strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, creating an important foundation for regional development and the implementation of investment projects.
