Former Uruguay national team goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, who previously played for "Lazio" and "Galatasaray", has expressed his dissatisfaction with the level of refereeing in the Argentine league. The 39-year-old is currently playing for the "Estudiantes" club.
In the 14th round of the Clausura tournament, Muslera's team was defeated by "Boca Juniors." In this match, a penalty was awarded to both sides, and one player from the "Estudiantes" team was sent off.
"I see clear refereeing errors against our team. This raises doubts about the integrity of local football.
In the short time I have been here, everything has become clear. It greatly frustrates me because we work hard, yet decisions like these cause us pain," the goalkeeper said in an interview with ESPN.
"Estudiantes" is currently in fifth place in Group A with 21 points, while "Boca Juniors" leads the standings with 23 points.
