Fulham Sign Two Players From Real Madrid

Premier League club Fulham have made a major move in the transfer market by signing Gonzalo García and César Palacios from Real Madrid. According to Goal.com, the two talented footballers have signed long-term contracts with the West London club running until summer 2031, with an option to extend for another year. Goal.com reports .

The double signing highlights Fulham’s strong confidence in new head coach Álvaro Arbeloa. Using his close connections at the Madrid club, the coach has managed to strengthen his squad. The London side have spent a combined £42.5 million on the two Spanish players.

Gonzalo García’s Transfer and Last Season’s Results

Striker Gonzalo García moved to Craven Cottage for approximately £34 million. During the 2025–26 season, he made 39 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga giants and scored eight goals.

Speaking about joining his new team, Gonzalo did not hide his delight: "I am very grateful and extremely happy to be here. I would like to thank the club’s management and Arbeloa for their confidence in me, and I am eager to get on the pitch," Goal.com quotes him as saying.

César Palacios’ Potential

The other player brought in to strengthen the squad is 21-year-old attacking midfielder César Palacios. Although he has had limited first-team playing time with the Madrid club, he is a regular member of Spain’s youth national teams and stands out for his vision on the pitch.

Palacios also shared his thoughts on joining the London club: "I am incredibly excited to be here. I think this is the perfect step in my career. The club is showing great confidence in me, and I will repay it with my performances on the pitch."
