Nike and Hyperice unveil $900 smart Hyperboot sneakers

Nike and Hyperice have unveiled the high-tech Hyperboot sneakers designed for pre-workout warm-up and post-exercise recovery, reports Wylsa.com.

The shoes feature heating elements and two air cushions to increase blood flow and deliver oxygen to muscles faster, according to Hyperice.

There are three levels of temperature (44°C, 48°C, 52°C) and compression (50, 130, 210 mmHg). Settings can be adjusted via buttons on the shoes or through a mobile app.

The Hyperboot runs for up to 1.5 hours on battery. Each pair weighs 1.7 kg.

Sales begin May 17 in North America only. The price tag: $900.
