Sierra, an artificial intelligence startup founded by Bret Taylor, has raised $950 million in new funding. This funding round was led by Tiger Global and GV. This was reported by Techcrunch.com xabar.

As a result, the startup's total valuation has exceeded $15 billion.

Company representatives stated that the nearly $1 billion in newly raised funds will be used to establish a global standard in customer service. Sierra began its operations several years ago with four design partners.

Currently, more than 40 percent of companies on the Fortune 50 list are Sierra clients. The artificial intelligence agents on the platform are performing billions of operations, ranging from mortgage refinancing to handling insurance claims.

The company's revenue is also growing rapidly. While annual recurring revenue reached $100 million at the end of November, this figure reached $150 million by the beginning of February.

Sierra continues to expand the capabilities of its platform. In April, the company launched Ghostwriter, a tool designed for creating other agents.

Users explain their needs in natural language, and the system automatically creates a custom agent.
