Greg Brockman: Elon Musk was furious after failing to gain control over OpenAI

Greg Brockman, co-founder and president of OpenAI, testified as a key witness in Elon Musk's lawsuit against the company, detailing early conflicts. According to him, Musk was furious after failing to establish full control over the company. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Brockman recalled a crucial meeting in August 2017, where OpenAI leadership discussed the company's equity structure and the shift toward commercial operations. Relying on his business experience, Musk demanded a controlling stake to dictate the company's development path.
The situation escalated during a heated debate over share distribution. Brockman admitted he feared Musk's anger at the time and even thought he might hit him. Consequently, Musk announced he would stop funding OpenAI until the issue was resolved.
During the trial, Elon Musk called OpenAI his "child." He claimed that the idea, name, and initial funding belonged to him, asserting that he founded the organization for non-profit purposes, but the company's direction later shifted.
